While submitting a passport application online, applicants must select the nearest Passport Seva Kendra for their appointment. On the day of the appointment, the applicant's documents are verified by the officials. Applicants can check appointment availability online through the Passport Seva Portal. To do this, applicants need to follow some steps, which are stated below: -

• Visit the Passport Seva Website.
• Click on the "Check Appointment Availability".
• Select the Passport Office and Passport Seva Kendra from the drop-down menu.
• Click on the "Check Appointment Availability" button.
• The available appointment dates for both Normal and Tatkal services will appear on the screen.
• You can also check the appointment date for other nearby Passport Seva Kendras.
• Based on their availability, applicants can select the appointment date to proceed with the passport application.
