If you have applied for passport , and the application is pending for police verification, you may contact the District Police Headquarters or local police station of your area for more information.

I received a mail from you that the address proof in my passport was not shown. I had attached my Aadhar card as address proof and the same address was written in my wife's address in the Aadhar card. So, the person at the passport service centre got my wife's and not mine. If your passport has been put on hold due to address proof issues, you should first check your passport status.

If your file is on hold at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), you can reschedule your appointment and submit your address proof again.

If your status shows that the file is on hold at the RPO (Regional Passport Office), then you should book an online appointment and visit the RPO. There, you can submit your address proof.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to urgently escalate my PCC application (Grievance No. XXX), currently showing: “Police verification report is not clear and application is under review at Regional Passport Office.”

I had travelled to Australia only because the Passport Seva Kendra instructed me not to visit the police station and assured that verification would proceed based on submitted documents. Despite full compliance and zero criminal record, I am now facing non-cooperation from Samta Nagar Police Station.

My husband confirmed with Karnataka Police that digital verification is accepted in India by local police, so it is unclear why Mumbai Police is creating issues in my case.

Due to the ongoing war situation, flights are highly restricted, and I cannot travel back easily. If I fail to submit my PCC on time, it will severely impact my visa process and may result in loss of my job in Australia.

This situation is causing immense stress. I kindly request your immediate intervention to resolve the verification issue and issue my PCC urgently.

I remain fully willing to cooperate and provide any documentation required to complete the process at the earliest. Any help that you can offer for the above matter will be greatly appreciated as I am very stressed with the current situation.
