For Adult Applicants (Not Required)

• Adult applicants are not required to bring a passport-sized photograph when visiting a Passport Seva Kendra for a passport application.
• At the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK/POSK), TCS staff will capture the applicant's photograph live and upload it to the system.

For Minor Applicants (Required)

For minor applicants below 4 years of age, it is mandatory to carry a recently clicked passport-sized photograph with a white background.

• Photo Requirements
  • Size: A colour photograph whose size must be 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm.
  • Face proportion: The face should cover at least 80-85% of the photograph.
  • Contrast: The photograph must be clear, with proper brightness and contrast.
• Other guidelines
  • Background must be plain white.
  • No shadow should appear on the face or on the background.
  • The part from the hair to the shoulder must be clearly visible.
  • Hair must be neatly arranged, and must not use caps, clips or hairbands.
  • The face must be clear and free from any tilak on the forehead.
  • Both ears, face, chin, and eyes must be clearly visible from the front.
  • Do not apply Vaseline or other shiny creams on the face.
