How to get a suitable appointment slot in the nearest PSK?

• Passport form is filled online. Application has to be made by visiting the official website of passport, Passport Seva .
• On applying for passport online, first of all, registration is done for passport. At the time of  registration ,you have to select the RPO of your state. At that time, you should carefully select the RPO of your state because if you select the wrong RPO, then you have to choose the passport office of the same state.
• In passport, the appropriate appointment slot has to be booked online in the nearest PSK. For that, you can go to the passport service website and check the appointment slot date of your nearest PSK and the availability of other passport office or post office PSK from the Check Appointment Availability option.
• In normal passport , appointment slot is booked only 3 times for 1 fee. After that the slot is not booked. A warning of maximum attempts is given in it.
• Whereas in Tatkal passport, appointment slot is booked only 2 times for 1 fee.
