1. Confirm Eligibility
2. Apply online at the Passport Seva Portal.
3. Fill out the new/renewal/PCC application form.
4. Pay the application fee online.
5. Book an appointment at a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK)
6. Police Verification will be conducted at the applicant's current address.
7. After successful police verification, the passport will be delivered via Post.

Note *

• Passport application can be submitted under two categories: Normal or Tatkal.
• Under the Tatkal category, passports are generally issued within 7-10 days.
• Under the normal category, it usually takes around 15-25 days.
