    • Ques 1. How will I receive my passport once it is ready?

    Answer: Once the passport is ready, the RPO will deliver it to the address mentioned in your application form via speed post. The postman will collect it from the post office and deliver it to your address. You are not required to visit the RPO or the post office to collect it. You must be present at home at the time of delivery. In your absence, the passport can also be received by your parents or spouse.

    Answer: It is impossible to correct details in the application form once it has been submitted. However, the correction can be made on the day of your appointment, where you have to request a correction form and inform the officials at the desk about the corrections. Such a correction can only be made for limited entries; for major changes, you will need to close this ongoing application file and start with a new file with the correct information.
